What is the true definition of love? What does it look like? How does it feel? Well there's no right or wrong answer! The truth is love is experienced differently by different people. Oftentimes we get so caught up in the commercialism of Valentine's Day. It's hard to see the sheer beauty of realistic love. Love can be shared and expressed in multiple ways. Whether it's through different groups of people or individually. Don't get me wrong I enjoy the holiday as much as the next person, but let's take a deeper look!
Instead of celebrating the love of a union between man and woman, why not explore other options? What about the love between a mother and child? What about love for your sibling? Matter of fact, what about self love? Self love is often placed on the back burner all the time! We never prioritize it! Let's get in the habit of celebrating ourselves! Flaws and all! In today's world self love is a category that's deeply underrated. Think about it! When was the last time you celebrated yourself, and it wasn't for your birthday? I'll wait..........Exactly! Let's change the narrative and start new habits! Love on yourself! Whether you're single or in a relationship. Whether you have kids or no kids! Take the time to appreciate yourself!
